I'll say it up front: most guys shopping for an Aime Leon Dore sweatshirt should just buy the plain embroidered crewneck and stop scrolling. Which one should you actually buy?
Go for a solid-color embroidered logo crewneck. It's the easiest to wear and the easiest to find at a fair price.Black, navy and a muted green are the safe colors. Peach and the brighter shades look great in photos, but ask yourself how often you'd really wear them.
What keeps selling
Quick caveat before the list. ALD doesn't publish sales rankings, so "best sellers" here means styles that keep turning up in recent resale sales. The prices are resale prices, not retail.

The Team Leon performance crewneck in medieval blue, which is nylon microfiber rather than cotton, was listed at $425. Even the New Balance link-up isn't cheap, since a cream Sonny League NY crewneck was asking $188.Worth it? If you collect, sure. If you want a good sweatshirt, I'd pass. You're paying for the story.
Fit and fabric
Sizing is the part people rush. Most of these crewnecks are described as a regular or classic cut, so nothing dramatic. Want a looser, slightly slouchy look? Size up once. Wearing it under a jacket? Stay true to size.Check the tag on fabric too. The everyday crewnecks are cotton fleece, but the performance styles are synthetic, and they feel nothing alike.
Buying used without getting stung
Fakes float around any hyped label. A few habits help:
Pick sellers who allow returns. Some sellers offer a 30-day window, and plenty of others sell final sale only.
Compare the stitching with official photos. Fuzzy letters or wobbly lines are a bad sign.
Ask for a shot of the neck tag and wash label.
If the price looks too good for that exact style, it probably is.
